What you get with an n8n VPS on Iotamine

What it is
A cloud VPS with n8n pre-installed and ready to sign in. It is self-hosted n8n on a server that is only yours, not a shared account.
What is installed
The official n8n Docker image, a PostgreSQL 16 database and Caddy for automatic HTTPS, on Ubuntu 24.04.
Address
https://<your-ip>.ip.iotamine.cloud/ with a valid HTTPS certificate, so webhooks work straight away. You can also add your own domain.
Sign-in
Your account email and a generated password, shown on the server's page in the control panel. We email you when n8n is ready.
Setup time
The server is online in under a minute. n8n is usually ready 1–2 minutes after that.
Sizes and price
From 1 vCPU and 2 GB RAM at ₹548 a month. We recommend 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 40 GB disk: ₹1,015 a month (₹1.41/hour).
Limits
No limit from us on workflows, executions or users. You are limited only by the size of your server.
Location
New Delhi, India. Your workflows and data stay on your server, in India.
Access
Full root SSH access. It is a normal VPS, so you can install anything else alongside n8n.
Billing
Hourly, in rupees, with UPI. Resize CPU and RAM separately; delete the server and billing stops.
Bandwidth
4 TB a month for every vCPU, from 5 TB up to 50 TB: 8 TB at the recommended size.
Updates
You decide when to update n8n, as with any self-hosted install. Take a snapshot first so you can roll back.

Five steps, all clicks

  1. 1

Choose n8n. On the deploy page, open the Apps tab and pick n8n. The recommended size is filled in for you.

  2. 2

Review and deploy. Check the location, size and hourly price, then click Deploy server. Your account email becomes your n8n login.

  3. 3

Wait about a minute. The server builds in under a minute and n8n starts right after. We email you when it's ready.

  4. 4

Sign in. Click Open n8n on the server's page and sign in with your email and the password shown there.

  5. 5

Build. Create your first workflow in n8n's editor. Webhooks already work, because HTTPS is set up.

Everything a production n8n needs, already set up

HTTPS from the start

A ready address with a valid certificate, so the webhooks and OAuth callbacks most apps need work without any setup.

PostgreSQL database

n8n stores workflows and execution history in PostgreSQL 16 on the same server, not a small file database.

Owner account created

The n8n owner account is set up with your email and a separate generated password, so nobody else can claim it first.

Email when it's ready

You don't need to watch the page. We email you as soon as n8n answers, without the password in the email.

Full root access

SSH in whenever you want. Add your own domain, install extra tools or run other apps next to n8n.

Snapshots and resizing

Take a snapshot before you change things, and grow CPU, RAM or disk on their own as your workflows grow.

n8n VPS hosting prices, billed by the hour

You pay for the server only. n8n itself has no extra charge from us, and there's no per-workflow or per-execution fee. Pick any size; these are good starting points, and you can resize later.

Iotamine vs other n8n VPS providers

Most n8n VPS plans come with n8n pre-installed and no workflow limits, and so does ours. The difference is how you pay and how you size the server.

Other providersIotamine n8n VPS
How you payUsually the whole plan term upfront, shown as a monthly rateBy the hour, from your balance; no term to buy

Which fits you? If you know you'll run n8n for years, a long upfront plan elsewhere can give you more RAM per rupee. If you want to start without paying for a full term, pay only for the hours you use, or size CPU, RAM and disk separately, Iotamine fits better.

What to check in n8n hosting

Question to askWhy it mattersIotamine
Is it your own server?A shared instance mixes your workflows and credentials with other customers.Yes, your own KVM VPS with root access
Is HTTPS already working? Most apps only send webhooks and OAuth callbacks to HTTPS addresses.Yes, from the moment n8n starts
Does it use a real database?n8n's default file database struggles once you have lots of executions.PostgreSQL 16 included
Do executions cost extra?Plans priced by executions get expensive as automations grow.No per-execution or per-workflow fees
Where is the data stored?Customer data in your workflows may need to stay in India.New Delhi, India
Can you size it to your workload?AI steps need RAM; busy webhooks need CPU.Change CPU, RAM and disk separately
Can you undo a bad change? An update or an edit can break workflows you rely on.Snapshots from the control panel

n8n hosting questions

n8n is an open workflow automation tool, similar to Zapier or Make, that you can run on your own server. n8n hosting means running it on a server that is always online. On Iotamine you get your own VPS with n8n already installed, with a database and an HTTPS address, ready to sign in.

Create an account, open the deploy page, choose the Apps tab and pick n8n, then click Deploy server. The server is online in under a minute and n8n is ready 1–2 minutes later. Click Open n8n on the server's page and sign in with your email and the password shown there. You don't type any commands.

No. Docker, the database, the HTTPS certificate and the n8n owner account are all set up for you. You only use n8n's own web editor. Root access is there if you want it later.

You pay for the server by the hour. The smallest size (1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 15 GB disk) is about ₹548 a month in New Delhi. The size we recommend (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB disk) is ₹1.41 per hour, about ₹1,015 for a full month, including one IPv4 address and 8 TB of bandwidth. There is no extra charge for n8n and no per-execution fee.

n8n runs on Linux with Docker. For a few light workflows, 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and a 15 GB disk is enough (about ₹548 a month here). For everyday use we recommend 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 40 GB of disk, which leaves room for execution history in the PostgreSQL database. Busy servers with AI agent steps do better with 4 vCPU and 8 GB RAM. The VPS also needs a public IP and an HTTPS address so webhooks work.

The manual way: install Docker, write a compose file for n8n and PostgreSQL, start the containers, set up a reverse proxy such as Caddy or Nginx, point a domain at the server, get a TLS certificate, create the n8n owner account and make sure everything restarts after a reboot. On Iotamine you skip all of that: pick n8n on the Apps tab when you deploy, and it is installed and ready to sign in about a minute after the server starts.

On Iotamine the smallest n8n VPS is 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and a 15 GB disk, about ₹548 a month (₹0.76/hour) in New Delhi. Because billing is hourly, there is nothing to pay upfront and you can delete it at any time; you only pay for the hours it ran.

You need a computer that is always on and reachable from the internet. You can try n8n on your laptop, but schedules stop when it sleeps and most apps can't reach its webhooks. A VPS is the usual choice: it runs 24/7, has a public IP and an HTTPS address, and costs far less than a dedicated server. The other option is n8n Cloud, where n8n runs it for you on plans priced by executions.

Most n8n VPS plans also come with n8n pre-installed and no workflow limits. They are usually fixed plans paid upfront for a term, and they often renew at a higher price. Iotamine bills by the hour with no term, lets you size vCPU, RAM and disk separately, sets up PostgreSQL, HTTPS and your login for you, and runs in New Delhi. If you want to start small or only pay for what you use, Iotamine fits better; for a multi-year commitment, a long upfront plan elsewhere can give more RAM per rupee.

n8n Cloud is run by n8n and priced by plan and monthly executions. Self-hosted n8n runs on your own server: you pay for the server, not per execution, and your data stays where the server is. On Iotamine the setup work of self-hosting is done for you, so the main difference left is that you look after updates yourself.

1 vCPU and 2 GB RAM is enough to try n8n or run a few light workflows. For everyday use we recommend 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM with a 40 GB disk. Move to 4 vCPU and 8 GB if you run many workflows at once or use AI agent steps with large inputs. You can resize CPU, RAM and disk separately later.

It is the official n8n Docker image, self-hosted on your server. Iotamine installs and configures it; we are not affiliated with n8n GmbH, and your use of n8n is under n8n's own licence.

Yes. Your n8n works straight away on its built-in https://<your-ip>.ip.iotamine.cloud address. Because you have full root access, you can also point your own domain at the server and use that instead.

Not from us. Self-hosted n8n has no execution cap, so you can run as many workflows as your server can handle. If it gets busy, resize the server.

On your server's disk in New Delhi, India, in the PostgreSQL database that comes with it. Nobody else's workflows run on your server. You can take snapshots from the control panel at any time.

You do, as with any self-hosted n8n. It runs in Docker on your server, so updating means pulling the newer n8n image and restarting it. Take a snapshot first so you can roll back if a workflow breaks.

Yes. Everything is yours: export workflows from n8n, or copy the database. There is no lock-in and no contract.
