How Windows deployment works
Windows has its own automated setup process, built separately from the Linux one.
For a fresh install from ISO, we generate a Windows answer file (autounattend.xml) that Setup reads on its own. Nobody has to click through the installer.
When we clone a Windows template, its hostname, network and first-boot (OOBE) settings are rewritten offline before it starts, the same way standard imaging tools do it.
Windows runs on full hardware virtualization, on the same kind of virtual machine every Linux instance gets.

No. Windows Server here is BYOL (bring your own license). We provide the server and the automated setup, and you supply a valid Windows Server license to activate it.
